A. Read a current article that applies to your topic from two substantial newspapers. (Properly cite both articles). Consider what each writer contributes to the topic, who the audience is for each article, what the claims, reasons and assumptions of the articles are, etc. Write a paragraph that you might incorporate into your essay based on the information you gained from these articles.
B. Delete or Delve: Choose one paragraph from your ruminative essay. Does each idea connect to the question? Do you expand on your reasons sufficiently? Delete what is unnecessary and delve into the most important parts of this paragraph. Do this for two paragraphs in your paper and post them.
C. Choose a section of your ruminative essay that makes an assertion. Start a new paragraph directly after it with the word “However” and write about the opposite(s) of your assertion. Explore other possibilities and perspectives.
